Yes, it has been some time since I have blogged, and so many new and great changes have come our way. I will keep this short, as I am typing with a precious little infant in my arms. Let's backup to December, 2010. I was 8 months pregnant and patiently awaiting the arrival of Eric back to Texas from St. Kitts. Eric flew home Friday, December 17th at midnight. Monday, December 20th, we were driving to the hospital in Beaumont around 8:30 am after my water broke. At 9:03 pm, Blaine Addison Metteauer came in to this world at 6 lbs. 9 oz. and 18 1/2 inches long. We were blessed that she came 2 weeks early in order for Eric to be able to spend 3 weeks with her before heading back to the island. Blaine and I are set to head to St. Kitts after her 2 month pediatrician appointment in late February.
I will resume my daily/weekly blogging once I am back on the island and settled in. For now, here are a few pictures of our precious little baby girl. They are randomly selected from my parent's computer. I will post more once I get all my pictures (over 1000 of them since I take pictures of her constantly) uploaded on my computer in Kitts. Blaine and I can't wait to hit the beaches and
be reunited with Eric.
