Blaine and I are finally getting settled in to our apartment with Eric. She had a little trouble adjusting to the climate down here (or maybe it was just culture shock!), but our days are finally getting better here for Blaine. The weather has been very welcoming, as we have had sunny days and cool evenings. We had fun with Eric's parents while they were here, fitting in an island tour, lunch at Spicemill, and Blaine's first trip to the beach. She hasn't been in the ocean or pool yet, as I am leery about sun exposure and cool water temps. We will see what the next few weeks hold for us.
As for Eric, he is so happy that we are back. He is doing phenomenal in his 5th semester classes which include: Small Animal Medicine, Toxicology, Anesthesia, Diagnostic Imaging, and Clinical Skills Labs. He has 6 more weeks of classes, a week of finals, and then we head home for a two week break!
