More "Orientation"

Tuesday: Official Day 2 of Orientation

Our orientation group checked out a different beach this am called Shipwreck beach. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the cutest little monkey eating his breakfast. Here, we swam and snorkeled, seeing many types of colorful tropical fish, sea urchins (dangerous if touched), and several schools of squid. Squid are the funniest looking tropical creatures. They kind of resemble humming birds with fins. Then, we were back to campus for lunch and a two hour talk session with Ross staff. They then taxi'd us over to the Caribbean Cinemas for a movie. We watched "Inglorious Basterds" with Brad Pitt. Eric and I would not recommend! They also have movies like, 'the time traveler's wife', 'the ugly truth', etc. Pretty impressive! Felt like a little touch of home being in the theater. We just cooked our first meal in our dorm apartment (it was a success!) and are about to head to the Marriott for a night of mingling with other students and possibly a lil' dabbling in the casino :) There are so many other pics to post, but are time consuming...so once everything settles down for me (Kori) (not gonna happen for Eric!), I will update more island pictures.
